WHAT TO EXPECT THIS YEAR

Like last year, we’ll officially kick things off Friday October 16 at White Duck Taco where Lonesome Wave will open for nationally touring progressive bluegrass band, 65 North Pickers. A handful of vendors will be onsite and a whole lot of energy and boot stompin’ music.

Saturday morning, we’ll start the day with the popular family friendly event, Rise & Strum, but this year, at Tatum Park! Also for the first time, we’re booking a local youth band, The Muddy Dux, to play a 30 minute set during Rise & Strum. Families can expect face painting, plenty of space for games and fun, and coffee. Always coffee.

After Rise & Strum it’s straight into music all day — and there are no overlaps this year. If anyone attends every single set, and finds Maggie at the end of the day, you definitely get a prize. ;)

Another new element this year is the first-ever Porchfest Songwriter Showcase Competition. Click here to learn more if you’re interested in entering. This will be a dedicated hour that will take place on the main stage at Anderson and Greenwood.

Greenwood Ave will be closed to traffic again, and we’ll have vendor row, portopotties, and the main stage again. Be sure to follow us on Instagram for all updates!
